Alternative to Original Medicare:You still have Medicare, but private insurers manage your benefits.
Coverage: Plans must cover all services under Original Medicare (Part A and B), excluding hospice care.
Extra Benefits: Many plans include vision, hearing, dental, fitness programs (like SilverSneakers), and over-the-counter (OTC) benefits.
Prescription Drugs: Most plans include Medicare Part D drug coverage.
Costs: Costs vary by plan and can include $0 premiums. They have an annual limit on out-of-pocket spending, which Original Medicare does not.
Provider Networks: Plans usually require you to use a specific network of doctors and hospitals (HMO or PPO), often needing referrals for specialists.

Building on that experience, I partnered with previous ownership to launch my own company, allowing me to provide a more personalized, relationship-focused approach to serving Medicare clients.
